Colorize black and white photos
Colourisation reads the scene — skin, hair, foliage, sky, fabric — and applies colour that is plausible for it. It is an interpretation, not a recovery: the colour information was never captured, so what you get is a well-informed guess rather than the truth about your grandmother's dress.

or drag them here — up to 50 at once, 25 MB each. JPEG, PNG, WebP, HEIC.
Honest about what colourisation is
Skin, sky and vegetation come out reliably because they have narrow natural ranges. Clothing, painted walls and cars are genuinely unknowable and the model picks something reasonable. Keep the original monochrome file — the colour version is an addition to it, not a replacement.
Restore first if the print is damaged
Colourising a scratched print colours the scratches too. Run Restore first, then Colorize the clean result.
How it works
- 1
Upload the photo
A phone snapshot of the print is enough. Drag in one photo or fifty.
- 2
AI works out what is wrong
Scratches, fading, colour casts and softness are diagnosed and repaired in a single pass — you do not pick tools.
- 3
Compare and download
Drag the before/after slider, then download the full-resolution result. Everything is deleted after 24 hours.
What it costs
One successful restoration costs one credit. A failed attempt costs nothing. Credits never expire, and there is no subscription.
