Enhance, or restore first

What sharpening cannot do
Motion blur across a whole frame and severe camera shake are not recoverable in any honest sense. We would rather say so than sell you a plausible invention of what might have been there.

- How much bigger is the result?
- It depends on the photograph. Up to about 8 megapixels Enhance doubles each side, which is generally enough for a standard photo print. Larger sources are enlarged by less, because the result cannot exceed the 32 megapixel processing limit, and a scan already close to that limit is cleaned up at its existing size instead of being enlarged.
